Today, Xiaomi has finally presented us the successor of the hugely popular Redmi Note 4, the Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro. Both the Note 5 and the Note 5 Pro comes with a 5.99 inches 18:9 IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2160. The Note 5 weighs about 180 g while The Note 5 Pro weighs about 181 g. Both smartphones will be running MIUI 9 Android Version 7.1.2 Nougat. The Redmi Note 5 has a 12 MP f/2.2 dual-LED flash camera while its bigger brother has a 12MP+5MP with f/2.0 dual camera setup. The Redmi Note 5 has a 5 MP front camera while the Redmi Note 5 Pro will have a 20 MP front camera with LED flash. The Redmi Note 5 has a Snapdragon 625 SOC while the Redmi Note 5 Pro has a SD 636 SOC. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 price in India will start at Rs. 9,999 for the variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option. As for the Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India, buyers will have to spend Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM model.
