With the realease of the the Xbox One X, the most powerful current-gen console, it has made a huge shift in 4K console gaming. But it faces a tough competition from Sony's $399 PS4 PRO. Both of the consoles focus on 4K gaming. But which is the better choice?
Hardware :
The Xbox One X has a nice compact design at 11.8x9.4x2.3 inches. But, it weighs about 8.4 pounds. The PS4 PRO is larger at 15.6x11.6x2.6 inches, but lighter, at 7 pounds.
Winner : Xbox One X. It may be heavy but it is compact and packs a serious power under its hood.

Pricing :
The Xbox One X costs $499 while the PS4 PRO costs $399. It may just be a $100 difference, but since most console gamers are casual gamers, this might be a huge deal breaker for them.

The Xbox One X has a AMD Polaris 6 TeraFlops GPU with a bandwidth of 326 GB/s while the PS4 PRO has a 4.2 TeraFlops AMD GPU with a bandwidth of 218 GB/s. The Xbox One X has a 12GB Shared System RAM while the PS4 PRO has 8GB of RAM.

PS4 has a lot of amazing exclusives like The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Uncharted Series, Bloodborne, Nioh, etc. Xbox also has some great exclusives like Halo, Gears of War, Forza, etc. but a lot of these exclusives are available on PC.

Sony's PS Now subscription allows us to play select PS3 titles for $20 per month or for $15 per game, you can play a lot of PS2 games upscaled to 1080p. On the other hand, the Xbox One X has got access to all Xbox 360 games and all the original Xbox games. This is great as their are a ton of amazing games on the 360 and the Original Xbox.

Both consoles have a modern and snappy interfaces. The PS4 PRO has a minimalistic design while the Xbox has a Windows 8 like interface. The PS4 PRO has Share Play, which lets us give control of our games to others for up to an hour. The Xbox One has a Snap function which lets us to use two separate programs at once. The PS4 PRO's DualShock 4 controller has a dedicated share button to share game footage and share it while on the Xbox, it is a longer process.
